Caroline Spencer (nee Litchfield) is currently on maternity leave and is not working.
Helen Patton graduated from the British School of Osteopathy in 2008, and has since been working in private practice. She is registered with the General Osteopathic Council and the Institute of Osteopathy. Away from the clinic she takes a keen interest in motorsport, horse riding; and playing golf.
Nigel Cooper originally trained in foot health at the SMAE Institute, Maidenhead in 1991 and later went on to gain a Diploma in Foot Health at Stonebridge College, Cornwall. He is registered with Stonebridge College and is therefore bound by their code of ethics, rules, ongoing education and is also professionally insured.
His hobbies include art, swimming and walking his 3 rescue greyhounds.
Elaine Slee trained as an acupuncturist at the London College of Traditional Acupuncture and at the College of Chinese Medicine and has worked at clinics in central London and Wimbledon since qualifying in 2011. Prior to that she spent most of her working life as a solicitor in central London. She thoroughly enjoys her change of career and her more recent change of lifestyle since moving to Hayling Island. As a Member of the Acupuncture Society you can be sure that she complies fully with their professional requirements and is fully insured.
Elaine is also a level 3 mat based Pilates teacher. She qualified in March 2012 and is accredited by the Register of Exercise Professionals. She practised Pilates for many years to help with her chronic back pain before qualifying as a teacher.
Jan Hartfree is a qualified Hypnotherapist and holds certificates in Clinical Hypnotherapy, Hypnotherapy, and Hypno-Gastric Band training gaining her diploma through the Hampshire School of Hypnotherapy. Jan uses Client centred therapy suiting the technique to each Client to ensure the best results. Having gone through the many changes and challenges life has to offer Jan finds she is happiest when working with others to improve their situation, or when supporting them with the changes they want to make. In her spare time Jan enjoys arts and crafts making small sculptures and paintings gaining inspiration from the Islands coastline and countryside.
Fiona Hopkins qualified as a Registered General Nurse in 1984, and worked within Palliative Care. This is where she developed an interest in lymphoedema after caring for patients with swollen limbs (lymphoedema). She completed the lymphoedema: Principles and Practice module at the Royal Marsden London, which enabled her to work as a Lymphoedema Nurse Specialist in NHS lymphoedema clinics, which she continues to do today.
