Dry Needling
Dry Needling (also known as Western acupuncture) is used to improve the management of pain, inflammation and also as a means of enhancing the body's own healing chemicals, in order to aid recovery and enhance rehabilitation.
Western acupuncture is a non-traditional approach, and is based on the understanding of anatomy and physiology. It therefore builds on the health practitioners existing knowledge. This form of acupuncture is used in conjunction with osteopathy, and soley for musculo-skeletal symptoms such as tennis and golfers elbow, piriformis syndrome, Achilles tendonitis and it can also be used in the treatment on trigger points and myo-fascial pain.
Caroline and Helen work in the clinic six days a week, Monday to Saturday. To book an appointment, please call The Hayling Clinic (023 9246 0555).
