Hypnotherapy is an extremely effective, safe and natural therapy which uses deep relaxation, guided visualisation and positive suggestion. Whilst in this deep state of relaxation, your brainwaves pass into the alpha state – a perfectly natural state achieved every day just before sleep. In this state both your conscious and subconscious minds can be accessed and can communicate with each other, while you remain in control at all times. Your subconscious mind holds all your habits, memories and beliefs. By making changes at this subconscious level, they become deep rooted and automatic; resulting in long lasting benefits.

Your therapist will work with you to make the positive changes you require and; once you are guided into the hypnotic state, will work alongside you supporting you at each stage, helping you to gain insight into any causal issues, to retrain your minds thought patterns, and help to change any unwanted beliefs and behaviours. Jan is a passionate advocate of Hypnotherapy and will take the time to explain what will happen and what to expect at each session to provide a positive, and relaxed experience.

You will be provided with recordings, where appropriate, to continue your progress at home.
